Little Meneluin had done by the window to watch as her mom took form and flew to the skies. She sucked in a breath and then sighed softly. Hands smoothing out her blouse and then the dragonling would go back and sit near Ivy. Fingers tucked ebony strands of hair back behind...oddly sharp and pointed ears. Not like an Elf's though or other human creature. Though looking at them quickly it could easily be mistaken for Elf. She sat on her hands on the chair watching the younger girl asking. "What are your dolls names?"

Ivy smiled up to Mene. She held out the red haired one and said "This is Gwen," then holding out the man looking one, "And this is Aerin."
She made them dance to an unheard tune..."They are best friends. Mommy says they can't kiss until they are married..."

She tilted her head curiously. "Whats married?" The question was truely sincere. She was a dragonling...lived in a cave and it was a wonder she even knew what dolls were. But Elosia and Alavorex were never married...dragons dun get married...they just pare up and mate lol. Usually the two don't even stay together long at all.

Meneluin hugged her sister tightly.
"Will you excuse me for a moment? I need to see to something."
She then moved out to the front and up the winding stairs of the Tula, peeking into the guest rooms, being sure they were ready for guests. At last she came to her own room, which she had redecorated a great deal since she had last seen Djomede and Laura. The tones were lighter, happier, and what little she had left of her parents' belongings now hung here.
"I really don't know what I'd do if I were you, sister. Haven't you learned that I am never the strong one?" It was said in a very delicate whisper, so no other could hear. She rearranged a few things and looked out the window to see a flock of black crows flying by. She frowned, hoping this was not an omen of the horror to follow via this plague, and returned downstairs, to see the girls playing with dolls.

Anzee hugged her sister back and then as she left the kitchen she moved to the fire to stir the stew and check the bread. She sighed softly and smiled to herself.
Ivy giggled and smiled to Lil' Mene. "Serious? Hmm.. That's when.. They go together for a while and then they says they love each other.. and then the man says they are man and wife.. Together forever. Until death do they parts! " She smiled and nodded. She thought this a sufficient explanation and kept on playing with the dolls.

Meneluin's Elven ears caught the sound of an approach. She ran to the window as she descended the stairs, just as she was about to smile over Anzee's explanation of marriage. She wished it had been that simple for everyone, particularly, she thought unselfishly, for dear Anzee. Her child had lived.
All thoughts of marriage disappeared from her mind as a heavy flock--no, swarm--of birds emerged, following the path of the Anduin river.
"Down!" she shrieked, running to the children. She was able to reach little Meneluin, one hand covering her own head and another the child's face. As she squatted, her chin was tucked securely over her an she moved the girl's exposed front to the wall for added protection.
Her prediction was correct--these were no ordinary plague birds. They acted like the spies of Saurman had only greater in number, and glass did not stop them. They seemed crazed, and she quickly sensed that they were not in tune with nature--even the darker side of it. They piled into the walls of the Tula, over and around it, covering the place in a dark cloud of feathers for a few full minutes. Beaks at first peaked through the windows, but then the glass started to spiderweb and break, falling onto Meneluin's brown hair and slicing into her pointed ears and exposed back. She was unable to spare a glance at Anzee, in fear that her or the child's face would be harmed.
The noise was completely horrible, particularly to Meneluin's sensitive Elven ears. The birds were angry, attacking each other, shrieking, and most likely plague ridden.

Anzee shrieked and before the birds burst through the windows she flew out of the kitchen and over the bartop and to her little one. She curled her body around the girl and moved next to her sister against the wall who was protecting little Meneluin.
"Meneluin! What is going on!!" She hoped that she said it loud enough so that her sister heard her. Her heart raced quickly in her chest, not knowing what to do.

Meneluin took the little dragonling completely by surprise. Having no idea what was going on, being covered securly then hearing all these mad birds swarming around. Fear took her wide eyed she gritted her teeth. Her small body beginning to turn extremely icy and cold, an effect because of her silver dragon blood. She squatted shivering near the Elfess in complete fear and panic.

It took a lot to make an Elf of Meneluin's variety shiver, but the small child of her namesake had done it. She wasn't sure what else to do but protect the girl. As the birds continued to pound through the place, she raised her voice to Anzee.
"I do not know, but these are no friendly creatures. We must await the healer's return."
She spoke, of course, of Mairi, who had recently stopped by on her road to the city in search of herbs for her apothecary shop back in Solurius.
Meneluin spared a grateful glance to the bar top. Her harp, which rested there, had been untouched--if she could reach it, she could help to protect them.
"If I can get to my harp, I can protect us."
Von had taught her well.

Thats all she could do really. If Lil Mene was older she could bring the harp to them with the telepathic powers she has from her mixed dragon blood-but since she was no where near that stage of training she couldn't.
And look here dropping in just at the best moment. Elosia and her son Elvorex which looked exactly like Lil Mene but shorter hair and a male poofed into the middle of the room, having teleported with Elosia being a Great Wyrm. "Bloody Hell!!" Elosia cursed grabbing her son and ducking down. Now this was *very* strange..coming back to the Inn while a bunch of mad birds swarmed everywhere. Scooting to hide behind a fallen table pulling her son close. El also dropped in just as Mene was saying what was happening. Took a minute to recall the words sicne she had popped in just at that moment. Elosia looked up towards the bar, being in the middle of the room she couldn't be that far. "Want me to get it?" She yelled over the noise.

Anzee was scared, and she could only clutch her daughter to her chest and shield her from the scary birdies! Ivy latched herself onto her mother, burying her face in her mother's bosom, crying and wailing. She didn't know what was going on, but it sure was loud and scary!
